5,000 Days of Keeping Tallahassee Clean: Celebrating Our Journey
It feels like just yesterday I was cutting this announcement out of the Tallahassee Democrat. On October 19, 2012, Hot Water Pressure Washing officially opened its doors. As we celebrate our 5,000th day in business this June, I’ve been reflecting on what an incredible journey it has been serving Tallahassee, Florida, and the surrounding communities.
Over the last 5,000 days, we have successfully completed 4,048 pressure washing jobs across Tallahassee, Bradfordville, Havana, Quincy, Monticello, Crawfordville, and even up into Thomasville, GA.
From the Yellow Pages to the Digital Age
Think back to 2012. If you needed a local service provider, there’s a good chance you still reached for the phone book. In our first year or two, we relied heavily on ads placed in the Yellow Pages. While we always maintained a strong website, the internet wasn’t yet the absolute default way to find a local company like it is now.
Today, the world around us has completely transformed. Most people find us through a quick search on their phone. But while the way you find us has changed from a heavy yellow book to a glowing screen, what happens when we arrive at your home hasn’t changed a bit.
Growing Alongside Our Neighbors
Being a local, owner-operated business means I am a part of this community. I have been on-site for every single one of those 4,048 jobs—either personally washing the property or directly overseeing the work to ensure it meets our strict safety and quality standards.
The greatest reward of the last 14 years has been watching our customers’ families and lives grow. We have clients who have trusted us with their annual exterior cleaning for over a decade. I’ve seen kids grow up, buy their very first houses, and now we proudly maintain the homes of both the parents and their children. We’ve followed our customers to their new addresses, whether they were downsizing for a quiet retirement or upgrading to a larger space for a growing family. Just like our customers, Hot Water Pressure Washing has grown and evolved.
